Assuming the roots

I wonder, someone who could make a religion as a bad system and become the source of polarization is the believers itself. As we know, religion is a complex system that provides a framework on how we should better live our life. However, it often occurs some controversies that eventually divide us into different parts but still inside the religious setting. I assume this could happen because our beliefs and sources are different. For example, when we know a claim about certain problems, we tend to seek for answers which referring from different sources such as hadith, sunnah, quran, preachers, etc. Therefore, the way we consume and examine the problem goes in diverse ways.

Nevertheless, what was I wondering about why people still resent another people because of that distinction? Then, it will cause major disagreements between people and confusion for those who are still learning. Why wouldn’t we learn from others? Or correcting if someone goes wrong? Hey! Are we forgetting that we all are holding the same beliefs? Worshipping the same God? Referring to same guidelines? The religion teaches us how to maintain a good relationship between our brothers or sisters, not to be superior over what we cultivate in the same beliefs.

Moreover, it’s unbelievable that there’s still exist a person who loves to complain about things that factually right. For example, there is a woman who’s using a long hijab, doing sunnah, reminding to go for prayer if the time has come, limiting to talk intensively with men, and doing other faithful stuffs. Then, it will emerge some questions or jokes which deliver from the same faith holders. Such as “why is she so devout (alim)?”, “why’d she wears a long hijab?”, “why does she remind us to do a prayer?” and blablabla. It’s fine if they truly ask and curious about it, but it’s weird if they ask to mock her about something that’s normal and obviously taught by the religion itself. The religious standard the majority has is often goes against what truly right. That’s why when something can actually be justified, there will be many side eyes looking over it.

Please enlighten me, if you have another point of references or wanna improve my writing. Thank you!
